Overview

Glengarnock is a Scottish based Company, which is part of the Swedish owned Ittur Group specialising in the design and manufacture of medium to higher end trousers and other associated garments.

We operate in three specific sectors:

• specialised schoolwear
• countrywear
• contract manufacturing

Our Customers

Our customers include some of the very best known department stores, quality independent retailers and discerning mail order houses throughout the world.  While the bulk of our business is undertaken within the United Kingdom, we have a flourishing export business to Japan, Germany, Bermuda and to the United States.

Facilities

Our head office and production unit in Scotland comprises a modern 14,000 square foot complex which incorporates the very latest in garment manufacturing technology.  These are supported by a state of the art ‘Gerber Accumark’ design and lay planning system along with a Sage stock control and accounting system.  We currently employ 25 local people, most of whom have worked in the clothing industry all their lives.

Production is set at a level that allows for both commercial efficiency and personal responsibility for quality.  As the quality and presentation of our garments is one of our most important selling points, we operate a quality control system similar to that required for ISO9001.
